This activity is all about 'drifting' which means getting the rear end hanging out while you go around a corner, which we wet down to make it even more fun!

About the Rage Buggies

We operate what we believe to be the best corporate buggy on the market today (and probably the most expensive at around £11,000 each new).

Rage Buggies are a custom built fully automatic dune buggy style vehicle using a 600cc Honda V-twin engine. These buggies soak up all the lumps and bumps you can throw at them at up to their claimed top speed of 50mph with ease.

Our track is specifically designed for drifting - that means getting you sideways with loads of understeer/oversteer! The driving conditions change radically depending on weather - fast and precise in the dry, sliding about and getting incredibly muddy in the wet!! We find that the “wetter the better”, so generally even in the dry, we get the hose out and damp down the main drifting corner for a bit of extra sideways action.

One of our instructors will brief you before you start the driving to familiarise you with the techniques of hanging the back end out. Then it is all down to your driving skills! Immense fun!

Booking a Rage Buggy Session

You can either give us a call and arrange a date and time to take part in this activity, or you can purchase a gift voucher using the Add to Cart buttons on the right hand side. Once you have received your gift voucher, you simply call to arrange a suitable date and time.

We book all of our activities on a time slot basis. If you are late for your time slot you will lose it - please understand that the participants booked in after your slot would not be expected to hang around just because you were late starting. Of course we will do everything we can to fit you in if there are vacant slots throughout the day, but you may have to hang around for a while until a slot becomes available. Please arrive 15 minutes before your allocated time slot.

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you have booked a time slot with us and simply fail to show up your voucher will become void with no refund. We prefer to have at least 7 days notice if you would like to change your booking with us but require at least 48 hours notice to a change of booking.

Restrictions: No driving licence is required for our Rage Buggies as the track is on privately owned land. We cater for ages from 16 who have the basics of operating a motor vehicle. We would advise that participants are in a reasonable state of good health and are not suffering from back or neck problems. If in doubt, please ask us before booking.

Pre-Booking: You can book by calling us on the number at the bottom of this page with a £10 deposit per person per activity.

Opening Hours

From April 1st to October 31st we are open every weekend from 10.00am until 5.00pm for single participants and small groups. We are open 7 days a week for large groups and corporate participating in multi activities and can extend the opening hours until dusk.

From November 1st until March 31st we open most Saturdays and selected Sundays 10.00am until 1 hour before dusk dependent on the weather conditions. It may be possible to open midweek for larger groups and corporate partricipating in multi activities.

Etiquette

We ask all of our customers to act in a responsible manner at all times. Motorsports can be dangerous if not treated with respect. We take customer and staff safety very seriously and kindly ask every participant to listen to all instruction and obey all requests from staff. We will not tolerate abusive behaviour at any time towards our staff, customers or spectators.

WE CAN NOT ALLOW WHEEL TO WHEEL RACING DUE TO HEALTH AND SAFETY LAWS - OUR RAGE BUGGIES ARE ALL ABOUT DRIFTING SIDEWAYS.

Extra Options

On-board camera - From £30.00

We can set your buggies up to record on-board video footage so that you can catch all of the action. We supply you with a 2Gb SD card which is good for an hours worth of footage. You keep the SD card and download on to your own computer.

Photography - P.O.A

If you would like the days action caught on camera, we have a professional photographer on site.

Merchandise

We can take your pictures and create mousemats, mugs, canvas pictures, keyrings, t-shirts and a whole host of other keep-sakes. Please visit our reception on-site to see what is available.

Refreshments

We have a selection of cold drinks and confectionary available in our reception area. There is also a fast food outlet on-site.
